Our current exhibition celebrates the twen magazine, which first delivered to the youth in the dusty 1960s everything that had previously been taboo. Alongside fashion, sexuality, and societal topics, the groundbreaking magazine also devoted itself intensively to the music scene - particularly jazz. Now, we want to bring this swing live to WestLicht - transforming the museum into a dancefloor for one evening.
After the tour of the exhibition, let yourself be carried away as The Thrill Seekers, with their authentic vintage sound and powerful swing arrangements, bring the joie de vivre of the 60s back to life. In the repertoire of the three outstanding musicians, you will find not only well-known jazz standards but also original compositions, selected pop songs, and hidden musical gems from the swing era.

Whether you're a beginner or advanced, together we'll explore new ways of photographing and seeing, and experiment with creative approaches to storytelling. Through group critique, we’ll analyze composition and we’ll also seek inspiration by examining the work of a variety of photographers. At the end of the workshop, students will be energized and inspired to expand their photographic vision.
